Mount Charles Catering sign new partnership agreement with Southern Regional College (SRC)
Mount Charles Catering are delighted to announce a partnership with Southern Regional College, specifically with their Department of Hospitality and Tourism.
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism has worked closely with Mount Charles for several years in the delivery of NVQ training programmes, in particular Catering & Hospitality and the signing of the Agreement will ensure the development and enhancement of the links between the College and the Company.
Mount Charles business has grown significantly in recent years and it has recognised that the input of the College lecturers can help the organisation produce better skilled and motivated staff as a direct result of training and development, thus contributing to improved productivity and performance. The co-opeative framework will also allow the College to benefit from student/staff industrial placements within the Mount Charles Group.
All of the technical and academic resources of the College will be made available to Mount Charles and it is intended that the voluntary partnership between the Company and Southern Regional College will provide a framework for co-operative activities that will result in long term, mutually beneficial links between the two organisations.
