‘We Make’ retail brand opens at Junction One International Outlet Shopping
Shoppers at Junction One International Outlet Shopping Centre can enjoy Northern Ireland’s freshest food offering with the opening of the first ever ‘We Make’ restaurant, the new venture from Mount Charles, Northern Ireland’s leading local catering company. The ‘We Make’ brand opened recently in the Antrim shopping complex and will create up to 25 full and part time jobs.
Announcing the arrival of the new restaurant Mount Charles Managing Director Trevor Annon said, “I am delighted to launch the We Make brand with our very first unit in Antrim. We know through our experience that success in catering is based on three simple ingredients, quality food, great value and customer focused service. ‘We Make’ will be sourcing fresh Northern Ireland produce, creating a varied and vibrant menu offered at a competitive price point.
“It is intended all ‘We Make’ units will be licensed in order to offer customers the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine with their meal. The brand is aimed at creating a niche market in locations with high footfall potential and I am confident ‘We Make’ will be a successful brand within our portfolio.
Mr Annon said the company was not ignoring the economic climate. “Junction One continues to be Northern Ireland’s most successful Outlet centre, attracting 2.5million customers annually. We are confident of catering for a considerable amount of these patrons and building a standalone reputation in the mid-Antrim area as an enjoyable and convenient place to meet colleagues and clients or family and friends over a great cup of coffee or lunch.
“As a company with a trading history over two decades we have experience of the fluctuations in the economy and the need to continually review our offers to the public. Our longevity means we know that, as well as presenting many challenges, a tight economic content can also provide opportunities. For a number of years we have been steadily growing our presence in the retail sector.
“‘We Make’ provides us with a new focus and we are currently actively looking at a number of locations to expand the brand in other towns and retail venues across Northern Ireland.”
Welcoming the new ‘We Make’ brand to Junction One, Centre Manager Leona Barr said, “We’re delighted Mount Charles has selected its Junction One outlet to roll out the first of its new ‘We Make’ restaurants. Our centre management has built up an excellent working relationship with the team at Mount Charles and the licensed restaurant is proving extremely popular with visitors for both casual daytime dining and eating out during the evenings.
